Whilst on the one hand it seems very important that

the total destruction of the human body should not be capable

of being conducted without such proper checks as may reasonably

or which might be reasonably of the

inferred

from the usual nature of the dispar

remains of persons belonging to a sect of the community to whi oh

such person adhered should be capable of being respected and car-

ried out in the Colony in a proper and seemly manner under the

ultimate control and supervision of the authorities appointed by

Government.
